Sorry about the lack of comments earlier. I was in a bad mood and not really feeling like writing anything about this. Still kinda don't feel like it, but I hate when artists don't post descriptions.

This is the Carillon Tower in Dayton...I wanted to get a shot kinda like this... don't even know if I'm really satisfied with it. I took this in the brightness of day, but I tinkered with all the colors and whatnot. I do, however, love the contrast both between the tower and the sky, and the shadows in the tower's inside (picture-related, that is). I also like how the glowiness I put in sort of works with that, and how you can see the bricks much more distinctively at the bottom...I don't know, I'm happy with the results.

Lol, you seem awfully torn about it. I like the perspective (yes, I'm going to be like everyone else. shhh) and contrasts as well.

I do like the perspective, but I will post my heretical opinion that the sky doesn't do well by it. I think that dark sky over simplifies the picture. It just doesn't grab me as effectively as I know it could.

One thing I'd point out, is that unfortunately, my Mac's color display doesn't match up with my Dell's monitor colors, and neither of those really match the LCD HP monitors at school...point is, I think the dark sky may look different to me than it does to you. Maybe not. Point is, I see asort of dark denim color with a nearly-glowing tower, whereas here at school the entire thing seems really dark and ugly. Dammit.

Thees is lovely... 'specially how dark the sky looks.. you know how I love dark skies ^_^

That camera really takes some cllleaar pictures... or.. you take some clleaar pictures with it. *thumbs up* Tres pretty.

lol, thank ya...i credit the camera with the picture clarity...though i do aftertouch it in Photoshop to get some of my effectiness...
