Biblical: Sachiel is the angel of Thursday. His name means "the covering of God." He rules over wealth or affluence and charity, as there is never one without the other. Sachiel is the Angel that is said to uplift us by guiding us to wealth, riches, dignities, and goods of all kinds together with great tranquility of mind, for the benefit of all who fear God and do his will. Sachiel rules over the elements air, earth, fire, and water (sort of like mother earth, or gaia). With power like that, Sachiel is the patron of the powerful and affluent.
Evangelion: Sachiel is the third Angel. He appears swimming in the waters of Tokyo II (pushing along with his gilled legs). Intriguingly his face is actually like a mask, which I think is related to the fact that his name means "the covering of God." In the series, he has the power to regenerate once he is battered... for example, they detonate an N2 mine right on top of him and it cracks his mask/face. Shortly thereafter, beneath the skin, a second one begins to push outward like a new tooth. Sachiel dies when Unit 01 goes berserk and tries to crush its S2 organ (more commonly reffered to as the 'S2 engine', the Super Solonoid Engine which gives the Angels limitless power) with its own rib bones, at which point Sachiel attaches himself to Unit-01 and self-destructs. The explosion is shaped like a cross, and leaves minimal damage the the area.
